How to Point Your Domain to GetSiteUp Hosting

If you purchased your domain from another registrar (like GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains), and you’re using GetSiteUp hosting, you’ll need to update your domain’s nameservers so it connects to your new hosting.

✅ Step 1: Locate GetSiteUp Nameservers

After purchasing your hosting from GetSiteUp, check your welcome email or client panel for the nameservers.

ns1.hostingcompany.com
ns2.hostingcompany.com

✅ Step 2: Log Into Your Domain Registrar

Go to the website where you purchased your domain (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap).

  1. Login to your account

  2. Go to Domain Management or DNS Settings

  3. Find the Nameservers section

✅ Step 3: Update the Nameservers

Replace the existing nameservers with GetSiteUp’s:

ns1.getsiteup.com
ns2.getsiteup.com

⚠️ Don’t forget to save changes.

✅ Step 4: Wait for DNS Propagation

It may take up to 24–48 hours for your domain to fully connect to GetSiteUp hosting, although usually it’s faster.

🧠 Tips:

  • You can check propagation status at: https://dnschecker.org

  • Make sure you do not use both nameservers and A records at the same time to avoid conflicts.
